I hope you are enjoying your Golden Week holiday. Personally, I haven't been doing much at all. Just staying at home, doing some reading and watching a few DVDs. Have you seen the American Drama series "Dr House"? I watched the first few episodes yesterday... I didn't think it was so interesting, but my friend did. Anyway, I hope you are enjoying your break.
So, down to the matter at hand. I have really enjoyed reading everyone's truths and lies, and everyone's lie guesses. So, now for the last stage in this homework activity. Please let us know what your lie was!!
Well, my lie was number 2 - that I have seen Arnold Schwarzenegger!! I did go to San Francisco in 2007, and I saw many things like the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf. But, unfortunately, I didn't see Arnold Schwarzenegger! Number 1 - that I held a live crocodile when I was little - is true! When I was about 7 years old I went to a reptile zoo during the summer holiday and held a BABY crocodile, which had it's mouth tied shut with some rope!! I actually have a photo of this somewhere. If I can find it I will show you during class. And number 3 - that I had 8 pet guinea pigs - is also true. When I was in primary school my brother and I had 2 pet guinea pigs. We thought they were both females, but actually 1 was female and 1 was male, and well, they had 6 babies!! We didn't keep all 8 guinea pigs - we gave some away to friends - but at one stage we did have 8 pet guinea pigs!!
Okay, so that was my lie and 2 truths. I'm looking forward to hearing your answers!!

In fact, I "had" been taught English by my grandfather by the time I graduated from junior high school.
So, No.2 "When I was 13, I could juggle the ball for the 2000th time in a row" is true thing.
Since I was eleven year-old, I had juggled the ball almost everyday. And finally I could juggle the ball for the 2000th time in a row.
Since then, I have tried to make a effort to do anything as possible as I can. I think that it requires time to master English. So, I would like to study English hard!!

During my childhood, I scooped many gellyfishes and piled in a sandy beach in my dream. So I didn't actually.
No.1: it is true. After he escaped, I couldn't find him. I was very sad.
No.3: It is tru. When I went to Hakata alone, a foreigner asked the way. He came to Japan alone for sightseeing. There are nothing to do at that time. So he asked me to go shopping together.
I enjoyed but I couldn't shopping because I concentrated on speaking and listenning to English. He couldn't speak Japanese at all!!

No.1 is...I made a mistake.It is true that there is no TV in my room,but I watched TV many times in my friend's house. So I should have written "I had never been watched any broadcast in my room". I'm sorry.

I've never been abroad since I was born,and my mother isn't a translater,though she has a good command of English.
Personaly,I'd like to travel abroad through the program on study abroad while I'm a college student.
1- this is true.I had had little opportunity to read books till I became a college student.
However,I have more free time than I used to.
That's why I try it.
3- this is also true.Perhaps,I have a talent only for juggle a ball,though another ability is so poor.
I have taken some lectures of tourist attraction in Hiroshima, and learned how to guide in English when I was a high school student. However the lesson was too hard for me, so I gave up. Now, guide in English is one of my dreams.

返信削除My lie is 1. Actually I had been on the practice of karate since when I was 8. But flying knee kick must not be used.
Other two were true. When I was 3 years old, I was run over by a car. But fortunatelly, I was not so hurt and I completelly recovered in a few days. And when I was, maybe four years old, I run away from my kindergarten and walked around a town, but I was soon captured by teachers.
